AWE Enters Cadillac Market With Exhaust Suites for CT4-V, CT5-V Blackwing

AWE—a precision engineering firm based in Horsham, Pennsylvania—announced its official entry into the Cadillac market. Following the release of the CT4-V Blackwing line earlier this year, AWE is now introducing an exhaust suite for Cadillac’s performance flagship, the CT5-V Blackwing. These offerings mark the beginning of the manufacturer’s Cadillac catalog, with a Cadillac Escalade performance exhaust slated to follow later this year.
Both the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing suites feature AWE’s signature SwitchPath technology, a valved cat-back configuration that allows drivers to toggle between a refined, sophisticated “Touring” tone and an aggressive, track-ready “Track” bark, company officials stated in a press release. The systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with the factory valve motors, retaining all original drive-mode functionality.
“Cadillac’s Blackwing models represent the pinnacle of American luxury performance, and they deserve a soundtrack to match,” said Josh Davis, creative director at AWE. “We didn’t just want to make these cars louder; we wanted to make them better. From the bespoke X-pipe that smooths out the rasp of the twin-turbo V-6 to the thunderous roar of the supercharged V-8, we’ve created an exhaust line that is as versatile as the cars themselves.”

This is just the start of our Cadillac expansion, and we look forward to bringing the AWE sound to the Escalade platform very soon.”
