The performance manufacturer AWE announced an exclusive partnership with Formula Drift Champion Chelsea DeNofa. The move cements AWE’s presence at the absolute limit of automotive physics, according to company officials in a press release.
DeNofa has claimed several supporting drift series championships in the last 20 years of his career. He has proven himself across the Mustang Challenge, SCCA Pro, D1 Grand Prix, and a win at LeMans in 2025. DeNofa is also dedicated to teaching the world how to drift with seminars, classes and a soon-to-be-released online school community. Known for an uncompromising, “all-out” driving style, DeNofa requires hardware that can survive the highest levels of thermal and mechanical abuse, noted the release.
Off-the-Shelf & Bespoke Exhaust Solutions
AWE will provide DeNofa’s fleet with off-the-shelf performance exhausts, as well as collaborate on ground-up, bespoke exhaust solutions for his most radical upcoming projects. From high-revving track monsters to his personal collection of enthusiast builds, the DeNofa stable will now wear the signature flow and “AWE Sound” that defines the brand, the company said.

“Chelsea’s resume speaks for itself, and we’re incredibly stoked to be his exclusive exhaust partner,” said Jesse Kramer, chief marketing officer at AWE. “We’re ready to push the limits of performance alongside him, outfitting Chelsea’s entire collection with the AWE brand of premium exhausts and developing new tech that can keep up with his pace.”
Live Testing Ground
By combining AWE’s rigorous manufacturing standards with DeNofa’s world-class driver feedback, the partnership creates a unique live-fire testing ground for exhaust innovation. As Chelsea continues to influence the global drifting community through competition and high-tier content, AWE will ensure his vehicles perform—and sound—better than anything else on the grid or street, the company said.
