2025 TMI TRIM Road Tour Rolls Into Its Second Stop at the C10 Nationals

TMI Automotive Products celebrates interior craftsmanship at one of the nation’s largest GM truck events in Fort Worth, Texas…

The 2025 TMI TRIM Road Tour is rolling into the C10 Nationals, taking place May 9–10 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. This event marks the second stop in TMI’s five-stop national series celebrating the best in custom automotive interiors.

The TRIM Road Tour was created by TMI Products to spotlight standout vehicles that incorporate TMI interior components with creativity, precision and a cohesive design, noted company officials in a press release. At each stop, one builder is crowned with the TRIM Award—earning them a chance to compete for the 2025 TRIM Road Tour Championship. The overall champion will win a trip to the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, including a five-night hotel stay and a feature parking spot during the event.

“The C10 Nationals has become a must-attend event for GM truck builders, and we’re excited to once again showcase the craftsmanship and detail that makes TMI interiors stand out,” said Ross Berlanga, marketing director at TMI Products. “We’ll be judging live at the event and presenting our TRIM Award alongside other major accolades.”

The First Stop on the 2025 TMI TRIM Road Tour

The tour’s first stop this year was on February 2, 2025, at the 75th Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California, where Jim McKay won with his 1972 Ford Bronco. The Bronco featured a pair of Pro Grand Bucket seats wrapped in Premium Distressed Grey vinyl in TMI’s latest Sport-DDL pattern (Double Diamond with Lines), accented in Orange Contrast Stitch, which complemented the exterior’s Cadillac Blaze Orange paint. McKay also modified the TMI salt and paper German square weave carpet kit to fit around his custom roll cage. Premium distressed gray vinyl was incorporated on his custom center console, armrests and dash pad.

A Look Back at 2024’s Winner: Parker Slate

At last year’s C10 Nationals, Parker Slate took home the TRIM Award with his uniquely styled 1965 Chevy C10. The truck featured a naturally aged patina exterior paired with Pro-Classic Sport-VXR bucket seats, plaid inserts and matching Sport-VXR molded door panels and Deluxe Sport R molded center console, all wrapped in dark brown vinyl. The rich tones and plaid perfectly complemented the truck’s Butternut yellow patina, delivering a design that stood out among thousands of entries, noted the press release.
