Cars.com Releases Annual American-Made Index

Cars.com has released its 18th annual American-Made Index, the website announced.

Cars.com’s automotive experts independently evaluated and ranked the highest-contributing vehicles to the U.S. economy for manufacturing, parts sourcing and employment.

This year, the AMI consideration set comprises 388 vehicles, but only 100 made the cut with Tesla sweeping the first four spots, joined at the top by Honda, returning Acura and newcomer Volkswagen, making its first-ever showing in the Index’s top 10, Cars.com said.
