Hankook Named Official Tire Supplier of Formula E

The FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) has confirmed Hankook Tire as the Gen3 tire partner of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, the organization announced.

Hankook will be creating custom tires for Formula E with innovative technology and connectivity benefits, the tire manufacturer says, to be used for both wet and dry conditions for multiple events and will offer a very low rolling resistance to raise electric vehicle efficiency. The tires will also contain Bio-sourced material and sustainable rubber.
