CSR2 Returns as SEMA Show Gaming Partner for Third Year in a Row
A mobile racing game renews its SEMA Show partnership to bring the Battle of the Builders winner & select builds to millions of players worldwide…
Zynga Inc., a wholly owned publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and a global leader in interactive entertainment, announced that CSR2 is returning as an official partner of the SEMA Show and the Battle of the Builders showcase.
CSR2 will feature prominently throughout the venue on official event screens and advertising placements. As a supporting sponsor of Battle of the Builders, CSR2 will once again bring the winning custom automobile build and a selection of other creations directly into the game for millions of players worldwide, the company said.
To celebrate the partnership, CSR2 hosted an in-game promotion giving mobile racers the chance to win one of 10 Friday show passes, including access to SEMA Fest.
For CSR2, SEMA provides a unique opportunity to bridge the virtual and offline automotive worlds, bringing together the fantastic creations builders spend thousands of hours putting together for players to virtually race and collect, the release noted.
After bringing last year’s winning build, a Ford Roadster called “Fenderless” by Rad Rides by Troy, plus 11 other custom SEMA cars into the game, CSR2 said that it continues its commitment to bringing the world’s most impressive custom builds into the hands of mobile gamers.
Bridging Custom Car Culture & Mobile Gaming
“CSR2 has always been about celebrating the artistry and passion behind custom car culture,” said James Hans, executive director, licensing & partnerships at Zynga. “Partnering with SEMA for a third year allows us to showcase these extraordinary builds to millions of players while bringing our community directly into the excitement of Battle of the Builders.”
“SEMA is excited to continue our collaboration with CSR2 and bring the creativity and craftsmanship of Battle of the Builders to automotive fans around the world,” said RJ de Vera, vice president of marketing at SEMA. “By featuring these remarkable vehicles in the game, CSR2 gives a global audience another way to discover the builders, innovation and attention to detail that make the SEMA Show such a powerful showcase for the automotive aftermarket.”
CSR2 is available now and is free to download on iOS and Android devices. The game includes optional in-game purchases (including paid random items).
