EnerSys, a provider of stored energy solutions for industrial applications and the manufacturer of ODYSSEY batteries, unveiled the ODYSSEY FleetPower program at the American Trucking Association (ATA) Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) 2026 Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition. The ODYSSEY FleetPower program is a complimentary 30-day study that pairs real-world battery telemetry with a total cost of ownership (TCO) calculator to deliver a customized report to right-size a fleet’s battery selection, leading to maximized productivity, performance and profitability, company officials stated in a press release.
“Most fleets lack visibility into how their batteries perform over time,” said Daniel Jones, transportation technical solutions applications field engineer at EnerSys. “The ODYSSEY FleetPower program removes that guesswork by turning operational data into actionable insights that extend battery life, improve productivity and clearly quantify savings across the warranty and service life.”
How the ODYSSEY FleetPower Program Works
Using 30 days of field data captured through the ODYSSEY Connect battery monitoring system—including depth of discharge (DOD), voltage, temperature, cycle counts and jumpstarts—along with fleet size and operating schedules, EnerSys evaluates multiple battery chemistries, charger combinations and value-based conversion options to identify the optimal solution for achieving throughput goals at the lowest TCO. The program aggregates and standardizes fleet data into actionable key performance indicators (KPIs), providing customers with clear performance benchmarks, noted the release.
