Everrati & SODA Announce World’s First Software-Defined Powertrain

With its mission to redefine the world’s most iconic cars as sustainable luxury electric vehicles, Everrati has partnered with SODA, an AI-powered automotive software platform, to bring new vehicle models to life. Together, their goal is to drive innovation in the automotive industry through a long-term partnership focused on Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) solutions.

Recognizing the need for faster, more cost-effective software development in next-generation EV powertrains, Everrati and SODA have collaborated to deliver a proven, market-ready solution tailored for premium and niche automakers, according to a press release.

The first product resulting from this partnership is an electric vehicle powertrain. Automakers have long sought a modular EV powertrain that provides flexibility without compromising performance. Everrati and SODA say they have responded with a fully integrated, end-to-end powertrain solution designed to streamline vehicle development.

Everrati claims its modular powertrain design has been developed with flexibility at its core. Hardware components and software applications can be integrated individually, allowing manufacturers to customize solutions at every stage of vehicle development. By offering pre-integrated hardware, software and an advanced engineering toolkit, this solution accelerates time to market, reduces development costs and optimizes engineering resources.

At the core of the powertrain is EverDrive, Everrati’s new suite of proprietary technologies and software control systems. Designed to enhance vehicle performance, efficiency and adaptability, EverDrive incorporates a high-power Electronic Drive Unit (EDU), flexible control system and an adaptable battery packaging solution.
