Vehicles Affected: Toyota is recalling approximately 106,000 model-year 2024-2025 Tacomas equipped with 4WD, 16-inch brakes and 17-inch wheels.

The Problem: According to the automaker, a buildup of mud and dirt inside the rear wheels from activities like off-roading may cause the rear brake hoses to become damaged over time, thereby resulting in leaking brake fluid and/or increased risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will replace both rear brake hoses as necessary at no cost to the owner. Toyota will notify owners by early April 2025.
