The “Double Bubble” was built by Greening Auto Company of Cullman, Alabama. Power comes from a 473-ci V8 with an individual throttle body setup. The engine is mounted to a TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission with a 9-inch rear end and Detroit Locker differential.

Body modifications to the Impala include a 3-inch chop to the roofline, shooting brake bodywork, raked windshield, modified fenders, and custom rear hatch. The custom rides on an Art Morrison chassis and RideTech air springs.Bring a Trailer Auctions 'Double Bubble' Ridler Award Finalist | THE SHOP

Inside the Impala sports recovered seats from a 1961 Cadillac Eldorado with dark brown leather throughout. Classic instruments gauges and hidden controls for the Vintage-Air climate controls and RideTech systems help the custom keep a vintage look.
