Goodguys Releases 2024 Event Schedule
Goodguys Rod and Custom Association has released its 2024 Season schedule, which will feature 15 events held across the country, including a new event in the northeast, the event organizers announced.
The all-new event, scheduled for June 7-9, will be billed as the Mid-Atlantic Nationals and be held at Dover Motor Speedway in Dover, Delaware.
“Goodguys has been looking for a place to call home in the northeast for many years now and Dover Motor Speedway checks off all the boxes,” said Andrew Ebel, Goodguys COO. “Dover Motor Speedway is a first-class facility, with excellent hotel options and amenities in the vicinity. It’s also conveniently situated just a short cruise away from several major metropolitan areas jam-packed with large numbers of classic automotive and performance enthusiasts that are ready to gather for a huge weekend of family fun and entertainment that Goodguys is well known for.”
The organization also highlighted a date change for the Lone Star Nationals, which has been moved to April 26-28 to coincide with the Pate Swap Meet, Goodguys representatives said. The event will also new attractions, such as an all-new drift exhibition and Friday night drag racing, as well as Goodguys CPP AutoCross racing action on the Texas Motor Speedway infield road course. More details on the new collaboration with Pate Swap Meet will be released leading up to the show, event organizers said.
