Yokohama Tire Returns as Championship Off-Road Series Sponsor for 6th Year

Yokohama Tire is back as sponsor of the AMSOIL Championship Off-Road Series for the sixth consecutive year. All Yokohama drivers will compete on various GEOLANDAR tires during the eight-race season, which kicked off May 1-3 at the Show-Me Off-Road Shootout at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, company officials stated in a press release.

The Championship Off-Road series is a short-course truck racing series featuring PRO4, PRO2, Pro-Lite & Pro-Spec trucks and SxS vehicles. The tracks are usually no more than a couple of miles with sweeping corners and massive jumps. Yokohama’s support of Champ Off-Road includes some of the sport’s premier tracks, including Crandon International Raceway.

Yokohama’s Role in the 2025 Championship Off-Road Season

As part of its renewed involvement, Yokohama will maintain a strong presence across key competitive and promotional elements within the series. This includes continued support of the Sportsman 170 SxS Hard Charger Award, the Top Qualifier Award for all PRO classes at non-Crandon events, and the Holeshot Award for all PRO classes during Crandon race weekends.

Team Yokohama drivers in the Champ Series this season include:

• Andrew Carlson, PRO4 class on GEOLANDAR X-AT tires
• Johnny Holtger, who won the Pro-Lite championship in 2025 on the X-ATs and A/T4s. This season, he is focusing solely on Pro2 year in a new truck.
• Ricky Gutierrez, who finished 3rd in the 2025 championship points in Pro2 on X-ATs/A/T4s
• Dave Mason Jr., PRO Buggy, GO15s
• Cole Mamer, PRO4, A/T4s
• Gray Leadbetter, PRO-Lite, A/T4s
