Yokohama Tire Heads to the 57th Running of the Polaris World Championships

Carlson, Roczen & Holland headline Yokohama's off-road lineup for Labor Day weekend racing at Crandon International Raceway…

Yokohama Tire’s off-road team is making a Labor Day weekend pit stop at the “The Big House” in Crandon, Wisconsin, for the Championship Off-Road season event at the 57th running of the Polaris World Championships at Crandon International Raceway, Sept. 4-6, company officials stated in a press release. Yokohama is the Official Tire of Crandon International Raceway, the largest short-course off-road facility in the world. Yokohama is also a Championship Off-Road series supporting partner.

Team Yokohama’s Lineup & Standings

Team Yokohama members such as Andrew Carlson, Ken Roczen and Robb Holland will compete on various GEOLANDAR off-road tires at the race. Carlson is a multiple-time podium finisher at Crandon, and Roczen will be making his debut at the iconic venue after capturing the 2026 Supercross 450 Class Championship earlier this year.

Holland is also making his Crandon debut, competing in the Pro Lite division behind the wheel of fellow Team Yokohama driver John Holtger’s truck for his first short-course off-road race.

Heading into the weekend, Team Yokohama’s Nick Visser leads the Pro-Spec championship standings. With only a narrow lead over second place, the title fight is shaping up to be an intense battle through the closing rounds of the season, noted the release.

“We’ve got a great team ready to take on the challenges at Crandon during short-course racing’s most celebrated weekend,” said Candace Cogan, Yokohama’s director of product marketing. “They will be ready to face the task on our versatile line of GEOLANDAR tires.”

Yokohama, Bassmaster Partnership at Crandon

Cogan added that Yokohama will have lots of activities off the track as well at Crandon: “We will once again feature our partnership with Bassmaster with a cool collaboration. Last year we hosted Team Yokohama elite angler, Brandon Palanuik. This time we’ll host Wisconsin native MaggieJo Carsello, a Bassmaster open angler and ambassador for BassmastHER, a female-driven initiative to support a community of female anglers via education, travel and inspiration. We look forward to introducing her to Crandon and the world of short-course off-road racing, something she grew up hearing about.”

According to Cogan, Carsello will host a BassmastHER workshop at Crandon for any females in the paddock interested in advancing their skills. She will also help host a VIP and youth fishing tournament on site at the event.

Additionally, Yokohama will lead the Crandon Labor Day Parade with Carlson and Roczen participating.
