YANG Fundraiser to Benefit AACF

YANG Fundraiser to Benefit AACF | THE SHOPThe Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), an Auto Care Association community of young industry professionals, is partnering with the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) to raise support for the foundation through a nationwide TopGolf event, the organization announced.

“In continuing its effort to provide support to members of the auto care industry, YANG is proud to once again partner with AACF to bring the auto care community together while raising funds that will provide resources, guidance, financial support and more to those in need,” organization representatives said in a release announcing the fundraiser.

Six TopGolf locations across the country will host events for the fundraiser on Sept. 8, with the support of industry sponsors.

The TopGolf locations for this fundraiser include:

  • Atlanta, Ga. – Midtown location
  • Denver, Colo. – Thornton location
  • Detroit, Mich. – Auburn Hills location
  • Houston, Texas – Katy location
  • Omaha, Neb.
  • San Antonio, Texas

“If you talk to anyone in the Aftermarket, they’ll tell you how lucky they feel to be in this industry,” said Cotter Collins, Central Regional Manager, Standard Motor Products, Inc. and YANG Chair. “We’re a group of people who truly care for one another and give back when we can. YANG members agree that it’s important to give back to a community that has provided us with so much; and we’re happy to do it in a fun way. Last year’s YANG TopGolf Fundraiser was a great success as we raised over $12,000 that was donated directly to the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation. We hope to continue to lead the pack in giving back for years to come.”

Event details, including registration and sponsorship opportunities for the TopGolf Fundraiser event, are available now and can be viewed here. Contact Danielle King, CMP, DES, Manager, Meetings and Events, at danielle.king@autocare.org for more information.

Proceeds will go directly to AACF and additional donations can be made on-site, the organization said.
