Wehrli Custom Fabrication Acquires Calibrated Power Solutions

The two companies will join forces to accelerate innovation to provide even better diesel performance solutions to their customers…

Jason Wehrli—owner of Wehrli Custom Fabrication, Machining, Powder Coat, and Big Hitch Products—has announced the acquisition of Calibrated Power Solutions (home of Duramaxtuner) of Woodstock, Illinois, a supplier of aftermarket turbocharger upgrades and performance tuning solutions for diesel pickup trucks.

“I’m excited about what the future holds for both companies. We’ve worked side by side since the very beginning—a partnership more than 15 years in the making,” said Wehrli. “The Calibrated Power team delivers top-notch tuning, which is rare in today’s market. They’re very familiar with our high-flow upgrades and how they interact with their calibrations for these engine platforms. We’ve consistently seen outstanding results from their Stealth Series Turbocharger line on both our own shop vehicles and customer builds. Joining forces and working even closer together on future product development will allow us to provide even better performance solutions to our customers, faster than ever before.”

Wehrli Custom Fabrication & Calibrated Power Solutions Will Continue To Operate Independently

Nick Priegnitz, founder of Calibrated Power Solutions, will continue to oversee the company in a technical product development role, ensuring leadership continuity and guiding customer, employee and partner transitions. He will also continue to lead industry-first initiatives, including the recently introduced 2024+ L5P Duramax and 2023+ 6.7L Ford Power Stroke performance tuning and turbocharger solutions, as well as legacy products such as the 70mm Drop-In Stealth Mach 3 turbo for the 2003–07 5.9L Cummins, company officials stated in a press release.

“Calibrated Power has always been about results-focused, data-driven tuning that delivers usable power to our customers. Since we first tuned Jason’s well-known compound turbo LB7 back in 2010, I’d been impressed by the quality of the fabricated parts his company built,” said Priegnitz. “Over the years, we’ve collaborated on a variety of projects and co-developed innovative products like the industry’s first emissions-compliant LML Compound Turbo Kit, which helped push boundaries and redefine what compliant performance could be. This opportunity brings together two leading innovators in the diesel space to continue shaping the industry’s future—pairing our technical calibration and turbocharging expertise, supported by advanced product-validation testing, with Wehrli’s passion for performance and innovation, world-class design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities.”

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Wehrli Custom Fabrication and Calibrated Power Solutions will continue to operate as independent organizations.
