Velocity Appoints Jeff Cooper Vice President of Marketing

Classic vehicle modernization company, Velocity, has appointed Jeff Cooper as its new vice president of marketing. In this role, Cooper will lead brand and marketing strategy across Velocity and its full lineup of high-end re-engineered classics, including initiatives tied to the recent acquisition of Classic Recreations.

Cooper brings more than 15 years of experience in creative direction, digital strategy and luxury marketing across the marine and automotive industries. He most recently served as creative director at Velocity, where he led campaign development, brand storytelling and production execution across the company’s growing portfolio.

Cooper Has a Boatload of Experience & Awards

Before joining Velocity, Cooper spent nearly 13 years at MarineMax, the world’s largest recreational boat and yacht retailer, where he directed creative and marketing production for brands including Galeon Yachts, Cruisers Yachts, Azimut and Aviara Boats. He also served as editor-in-chief of the award-winning “MarineMax Lifestyles Magazine” and led omnichannel campaigns across the company’s 80-plus retail locations.

Known for building high-performing teams and driving measurable brand results, Cooper has received multiple American Advertising Awards, Neptune Awards and Florida Print Awards, and was named to the Boating Industry 40 Under 40 list in 2022.

Cooper is based in Pensacola, Florida, where he leads Velocity’s integrated marketing organization, including creative, digital and performance marketing divisions. Velocity says Cooper’s appointment will support the company’s ongoing expansion through strategic partnerships, lifestyle-driven brand experiences and a commitment to craftsmanship at every level.
