In addition, Jon Pulli, Turn 14 Distribution’s CEO, was presented with the SEMA GEN III Innovator of the Year Award for 2018.

The Warehouse Distributor of the Year award honors one distributor each year for its outstanding contribution to the motor vehicle aftermarket during the previous 12 months. It’s the second time in three years Turn 14 Distribution won the award.

The SEMA Gen III Innovator of the Year Award serves to recognize youthful innovators whose work is substantially changing the way the automotive aftermarket is doing business.

“Winning WD of the Year for the second time in three years is an immense accomplishment. I am proud of Turn 14 Distribution’s employees, vendors, and dealers for their ability to work together cohesively so that we can all prosper. With that said we are not done yet, we have plans in store and will continue to shape our industry,” Pulli said.

Since winning the Warehouse Distributor of the Year award in 2016, Turn 14 Distribution has been focused on exceeding its goals as well as its customers’ expectations, according to the company. Turn 14 Distribution this year has opened a new 272,000-square-foot distribution center in Arlington, Texas, as well as a brand-new 178,000-square-foot distribution center, announced this week. The new facilities  significantly increase the company’s overall warehouse footprint while also decreasing shipping times nationwide, according to Turn 14 Distribution.

Turn 14 Distribution has also added nearly 30 new brands this year, as well as introduced new API functionality, and expanded its full operations to six days a week, which allows the distributor to assist customers and ship packages on Saturday.

Pulli, at the helm during these achievements, earned the SEMA Gen III Innovator of the Year Award for the first time. He credited Turn 14 Distribution’s co-founder Chris Candido and the company’s staff for the awards during his acceptance speech.

“While I am honored to personally receive this award, I feel Turn 14 Distribution as a whole is the real recipient,” he said. “I would not be here without co-founder and CTO Chris Candido. I would also like to thank all of my staff for their commitment to excellence. I promise that through innovation Turn 14 Distribution will continue to lead by example.”
