Performance parts distributor Turn 14 Distribution has added FTI Performance to its line card, expanding its portfolio of high-performance drivetrain solutions.

Founded in 2008, FTI Converters LLC started with a focus on high-quality performance torque converters, working closely with the local racing community. In 2019, NHRA Funny Car driver Paul Lee acquired the company, driving growth and expanding into new markets and product lines, the company stated in a press release.

Now known as FTI Performance, the brand offers solutions for everything from daily drivers to 5,000-hp race cars, while maintaining a commitment to quality and innovation.

“FTI Performance is renowned for its high-performance torque converters and drivetrain components, with a strong focus on custom-built products for street, race and off-road vehicles. Specializing in high-performance torque converters for domestic vehicles including Ford, GM and Mopar models, FTI Performance fills a significant gap in our line card,” said Tom Miller, divisional purchasing manager, Turn 14 Distribution. “While we’ve offered torque converters for diesel trucks, this partnership provides a solution for performance vehicles like Mustangs, Chargers andCamaros, addressing a long-standing need. This addition strengthens our relationship with a trusted vendor and enhances our offerings for dealers building high-performance vehicles.”
