Turn 14 Distribution Adds Akrapovič Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Exhaust System

Turn 14 Distribution, the exclusive U.S. and Canadian automotive distributor for Akrapovič, is now offering the new Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line Titanium Exhaust System for the 2022-plus Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS, the companies announced.

The performance exhaust system can be expanded with an optional Titanium Link Pipe Set, in addition to a pair of carbon fiber rear diffusers and optional sound kit that round out Akrapovič offerings for this new platform, the company said.

The Slip-On Race Line exhaust system is constructed from high-grade titanium with a sandblasted finish. Akrapovič engineers incorporated two valves to control the tone at both lower speeds and higher revs, the company said. The tailpipe diameter is larger than the standard stock tailpipes, with a coated outer and cast inner shell. This manufacturing process produces a blue color once heat is applied through drive cycles. Enthusiasts benefit from an additional 7.6 hp and 14.2 lb.-ft., while also benefiting from a weight savings of 44.4% over the factory system, the company said. This track-oriented exhaust needs no remapping and has been developed for use on closed-course competition circuits only.

To compliment this exhaust system’s visual finish, Akrapovič offers gloss and matte finish Carbon Fiber Rear Diffusers. These diffusers were developed from the factory units and offer a weight savings of 52.6%.
