Truck Hero Names New Bed Cover COO
Truck Hero, a provider of truck and Jeep accessories, has appointed Sebastien Katch as chief operating officer for truck bed covers, reporting to the company’s president and Chief Executive Officer, Bill Reminder, the company announced.
Katch’s role will oversee all truck bed cover manufacturing operations and will be responsible for the development and implementation of the organization’s global supply chain and procurement functions and Truck Hero’s distribution network and logistics.
“We are very excited to have Seb join the team and help us to continue growing Truck Hero and our brands,” said Reminder. “He has been extremely successful particularly in areas of Operations Excellence and Lean Transformations.”
Katch joins Truck Hero with a wealth of knowledge, including more than twenty years of consulting and operating experience with an extensive background in operation excellence and transformations, the company said. Most recently, Sebastien was an operating partner at L Catterton for the past nine years, focusing on portfolio company value creation, spent six years at McKinsey & Company leading business operations transformations and eight years in the Aerospace industry, designing and building commercial and military aircraft engines.
Katch holds an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master’s in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master’s in finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, Canada.
