Toyota Adds Nightshade, Platinum TRD Packages for 2024 Sequoia
Toyota has added two new packages for the 2024 Sequoia SUV, the automaker announced, which is now available with the Nightshade appearance package and the TRD Off-Road package for Platinum grade 4×4 models.
The new Nightshade package, available on Limited grades, features several black accents like 20-inch wheels, over fenders, grille, mirror caps and badges.
The TRD Off-Road trim enhances off-road capability with the addition of a selectable locking rear differential, Multi-Terrain Select that helps controls wheel spin for improved traction and Downhill Assist Control, Toyota said. Crawl Control also comes standard.
TRD Off-Road also comes with the Multi-Terrain Monitor feature to provide a better view of hard-to-see spots for the driver. TRD-tuned Bilstein monotube shock absorbers, TRD-tuned springs, and a red front axle driveshaft are also added. Inside, aluminum gas/brake pedals and a red TRD push-button start button are included.
The TRD Off-Road package adds to additional features standard with the Platinum grade, which include heated and ventilated front and second-row, second-row captain’s chairs, standard 14-speaker JBL Premium Audio system, standard panoramic moonroof, standard Head-Up Display and more. High-grade LED headlights and taillights are added, along with sequential turn signals. Rain-sensing wipers are added to Platinum, as is standard Qi wireless charging.
