A custom 1968 C10 earns Ruben Terraza a trip to the SEMA Show, plus a Top 20 finalist spot at the TMI Products TRIM Awards event…

Designer and manufacturer of custom automotive interiors, TMI Products, has announced the fifth and overall winners of the 2025 TRIM Road Tour. The TRIM Road Tour is a multi-stop competition that spotlights the best TMI-equipped vehicles from across the nation, leading up to the TMI Products TRIM Awards at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, company officials stated in a press release.
1965 Custom C10 Deluxe Dually Wins the 5th Round
Bookending the five-stop 2025 TRIM Road Tour was the fifth and final Road Tour winner, Tennessee resident Michael Smalls, who was chosen during the Triple Crown of Rodding event held in Nashville, Tennessee, Sept. 5-6. Smalls’ teal 1965 custom C10 dually featured a TMI Pro Series Deluxe Bench Seat covered in premium brown distressed vinyl with black contrast stitch and buck tan inserts with premium Double Diamond Stitch.
Smalls continued the theme throughout the rest of the interior by using the same materials on the custom door panels, dash pad, and custom speaker box on the rear cab wall that doubles as a gun rack. Two revolvers and a shotgun are tastefully integrated and mount flush into the panel.
Ruben Terraza’s Custom 1968 C10 Wins Overall Award
The TMI TRIM judges (Kevin Oeste, Sara Moroson, Theresa Contreras, Sean Holman, Marcel Venable and Jason Mulligan) looked at all five of the 2025 TRIM Road Tour winners and agreed that this year’s overall trophy should be awarded to Ruben Terraza’s custom 1968 C10, the second-stop winner from the Texas C10 Nationals.
Terraza’s C10 features a full TMI interior with some design elements that have never been utilized before in a TMI Interior, noted the press release. The VXR insert pattern is carried throughout the build and uses two different colors of vinyl plus a micro-suede for the VXR insert with black grommets. The builder liked the insert pattern so much that he had his interior shop make matching inserts that were used as floor mats and for the headliner.
These details caught the eye of C10 Nationals TRIM judge Chris Baker, who commented, “We all really liked the interior, as it had some design elements that we’ve never seen in a TMI Interior; it had two different browns, plus a micro-suede for the VXR insert with black grommets.”
Destination Vegas
Terraza earns an invite to the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada (Nov. 4-7, 2025), a Top 20 finalist spot at the TMI Products’ TRIM Awards event, a pass and feature parking spot at the SEMA Show, and a five-night hotel stay during the event.
