Tint World Expands into New Orleans and Delaware

Boca Raton, Florida-based Tint World Automotive Styling Centers has opened its first franchises in New Orleans and in Delaware.

The New Orleans store is owned and operated by Stephen Klein, and aside from all of the normal products and services Tint World offers, the store will also incorporate an antique and classic restoration shop.

Klein has been involved with automobiles since he was just a teenager, working on antique vehicles with his grandfather. According to the company, what started as a hobby quickly became monetized, and he financed his time in college by fixing up cars and then selling them. He later opened and operated an antique and classic restoration shop in Baton Rouge for seven years, but shut down the shop after his father became ill and moved to New Orleans, where he then reopened.

“I worked with a degree of auto accessories at my older store, but it was just on a smaller scale,” Klein said. “There’s a huge demand for it though, and that helped bring me to Tint World. Charles (Bonfiglio) [Tint World’s CEO] and I hit it off right away. I was so impressed with his marketing, and the brand is so recognizable I feel like it sells itself. I also love that Tint World gives me an opportunity to build a business that I can step away from, and with the right people in place, trust that it will continue to operate smoothly in my absence.”

Tint World of New Orleans will be laid out like a typical Tint World in the front of the facility and Klein will operate his hot rod and classic restoration business in the back. It is located at 5821 Jefferson Highway, Building A, in Elmwood, Louisiana, and can be reached at 504-708-5366.

Delaware Expansion

The company’s first Delaware location, in Wilmington, is owned by franchisee Jason Heller, who previously worked in emergency services and regional sales and operations management. He says he intends to serve northern Delaware, southern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania from his new location.

Heller first became interested in a Tint World franchise in 2013.

“I wanted it to be something I’m passionate about, not just another job,” Heller said. “And I’m a car guy, especially when it comes to styling and looks. Everything Tint World does, I’ve had done to a car, from window tinting to upgrading the audio system. And the Tint World family really provides exceptional support-their national branding and solid marketing plan are ultimately what sold me.”

Like all Tint World locations, the Wilmington office will provide a full range of automotive styling and safety services, including automotive tint; automotive paint protection film; mobile electronics; advanced driver-assistance systems; car stereo upgrades; and residential and commercial window film.

The Wilmington Tint World is located at 400 N. Maryland Ave., and can be reached at 302-595-9100.
