Thomas Harrell Awarded YEN Young Executive of the Year Award

Thomas Harrell Awarded YEN Young Executive of the Year Award | THE SHOPThomas Harrell, CEO of AllPro Distributing, was awarded the Young Executive of the Year Award at this year’s all-virtual SEMA360 event, the group announced.

Each year, the SEMA Young Executives Network (YEN) presents this award to an individual who has made a positive impact on the industry and who has demonstrated exceptional service, integrity, professional growth and business ethics, the YEN says.

Harrell’s father, Danny, co-founded the H&H Home and Truck Accessories chain in the southeastern United States in 1987. AllPro Distributing was founded in 1995 and quickly became the wholesale arm of the company, serving jobbers throughout the region.

After graduating from the University of Alabama, Harrell worked as a Certified Public Accountant prior to returning to the family business. There, he led the integration of the newly-acquired Weathers Auto Supply into the AllPro Distributing network.

Harrell was named CEO in 2018 and has led the company through a major overhaul of the ERP system, as well as a rebranding of the retail chain (now H&H Truck and Outdoor), and is now working with his team to build an in-house inventory sourcing and pricing solution to handle increased e-commerce and distribution business, the company said.

Under his leadership, AllPro Distributing earned the 2019 SEMA Warehouse Distributor of the Year award, as well as two awards given by the AAM Group in 2020 for Outstanding Marketing Participation and Active Participation.

Harrell credits his work family for the company’s success, saying, “This award, to me, is just as much about the great people that we have at our company. What we do, we do well. We have such great people, and to me, this is just as much about everyone else in our company that come in every day to kick some butt. I wouldn’t go to bat with another team.”
