The Wheel Group (TWG) announced the promotion of Tom Corona to digital manager. In his new role, Corona will lead TWG’s digital platform initiatives, helping ensure the company’s extensive portfolio of aftermarket brands is positioned for success across today’s digital channels, company officials stated in a press release.
Corona has played a critical role in establishing TWG as an industry leader in product data quality, noted the release. His work was instrumental in TWG earning SEMA Data Excellence recognition for 11 brands in 2025, including Platinum-level recognition for eight brands: Amp Tires, Cali Off-Road, Dirty Life Race Wheels, Ion Alloy Wheels, Kraze Wheels, Mayhem Wheels, Ridler Wheels and Touren Wheels. Three additional brands—Body Armor 4×4, Tuff Stuff Overland and Metal Lugz—achieved Gold status.
In his new position, Corona will oversee TWG’s product data programs while taking a broader leadership role in digital initiatives, including website development and online infrastructure supporting TWG’s customers and end users.
TWG says Corona adds a genuine enthusiast perspective to his work in the aftermarket, which allows him to bring to life experiences that enthusiasts want to see online.
“Tom has been a driving force behind our data excellence initiatives,” said Joe Podlovits, vice president of marketing and national accounts at TWG. “He understands that the quality of our digital information directly impacts our dealers, distributors, and ultimately the consumer. He’s continued to make a significant impact in this area, and this new role gives him the opportunity to build on that success and help drive our broader digital strategy.”
As digital manager, Corona will work across product, marketing, sales and technology teams to strengthen TWG’s digital foundation and help its brands compete more effectively across the modern aftermarket, the company said.
