Synchrony Powers Team’s Off-Road Rally Dream With 2025 Rebelle Rally Sponsorship

Consumer financial services company Synchrony is sponsoring a driver team competing in this week’s 2025 Rebelle Rally. A women-only off-road navigation rally celebrating its 10th year, the Rebelle Rally is an eight-day (Oct. 8-18), 1,500-mile competition spanning the Nevada and California desert.
Unlike traditional races, the rally emphasizes navigation, endurance and teamwork over speed, with competitors relying solely on maps, compasses and roadbooks. Synchrony will support a team led by driver Sam Russo and navigator Lauren McCullough.
Both Russo and McCullough are first-time participants in the rally, which was made possible in part by Synchrony’s sponsorship. The company is contributing to the team’s entry fees and providing a custom Synchrony Car Care vehicle wrap, according to officials.
“The Rebelle Rally is an event we’ve all circled on our calendars, and Synchrony’s support has turned a dream into reality for us,” said Russo. “We are looking forward to not only challenging ourselves and competing against the other teams, but helping promote the event to celebrate women racers,” said McCullough.
The Rebelle Rally sponsorship aligns with Synchrony’s commitment to consumers through the Synchrony Auto Network, which offers the Synchrony Car Care credit card a card dedicated to automotive purchases with no annual fee, the company noted in a press release. The sponsorship also builds on the company’s cross-platform efforts to expand women’s participation in off-road events. Earlier this year, Synchrony sponsored the Babes in The Dirt 2025 Off-Road Adventure Series.
