Auto industry veteran Jim Sweener has joined the MyRacePass team as the director of advertising sales and business development for the MRP Digital Ads network, the company announced.
Sweener comes to the group with years of mechanical, product development, sales and marketing experience, the company said. Sweener spent the last 12 years as an account executive and director of sales and business development for the Internet Brands AutoClassifieds group, including RacingJunk.com.
In the new role, Sweener will translate that experience into growing connections between race and performance industry manufacturers, retailers and consumers via the MRP Digital Ads network, the company said.
