Super Pacific has named a new hire and promotion that will help with the company’s continued growth.
Philip Kuroda has been hired in the newly created position of B2B sales manager, where he will focus on creating new relationships in the van builder market. Kuroda brings a background in B2B sales and account management as well as hands-on experience in van conversions from his previous role as lead technician and body shop manager at Overland Van Project.
Super Pacific recently launched Cloud Cap, adapting the wedge-style tent for the van market as a pop-top with an internal passthrough engineered to integrate with adventure vans.
“We are thrilled to welcome Philip to the team,” said Super Pacific co-founder and president, Peter Williams. “His experience, industry insight, and passion for the category make him the ideal candidate to lead our B2B sales efforts. We are excited to build our presence in the van market and put Super Pacific in front of a new audience.”
To support company growth, Jessica Johnson has been promoted to general manager of operations. Additionally, Super Pacific is adding new square footage to their facility and the production team has been expanded with new hires to support cutting, sewing, and fabrication in Super Pacific’s Portland, Oregon headquarters.
“The new team members, promotions, and facility expansion reflect a very exciting time for us as a company, with notable growth in our core business while we also expand into new categories,” added Williams.
