Stellantis Hints at Killing Brands for the U.S.

A new report from Car & Driver notes that Stellantis may be considering killing off some of their brands for the U.S. market. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares recently confirmed the conglomerate would be willing to kill off certain struggling brands. 

While Stellantis does not report figures for most individual brands, Maserati has posted an eight-figure loss in the first half of 2024. Tavares did note that while they’ve met sales goals in Europe, “The job is not done in the U.S.” and the brand will continue to push on American markets.

Currently, Stellantis owns Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati and Ram.
