Speed Ring to Return in September

Motovicity is excited to continue hosting the ultimate automotive battle – pitting driver against driver in a chase for a massive cash purse. The two-day Speed Ring competition brings together racers, enthusiasts, spectators and some of the best aftermarket brands for a high-octane weekend.

The green flag will drop on Sept. 21-22, with a Street Sprint (including Street Lights, Street Sport and Street Muscle classes) and bracket competition (including Unlimited, Track Modified, Street Modified and a new Street class). It all goes down at the M1 concourse in metro Detroit on an exhilarating 1.5-mile, state-of-the-art road course.

The professionally designed course was made to accommodate a wide variety of vehicles and driving experiences, with challenging turns and generous elevation for the ultimate driving experience. As if the competition isn’t going to be intense enough, there will also be a drift exhibition throughout the weekend led by 3-time Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg.
