V-8 Power & Multiple Transmission Choices Drive the 300 SL Series

The Signature 300 SL is based on the R170 or R171 chassis, depending on the variant ordered, and is powered by a modern V-8 offering up to 395 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, 5G-Tronic or 7G-Tronic automatics with AMG Speedshift tech, as well as a 9-speed 9G-Tronic option on select R172 builds.
