SEMA Show Banquet to Feature New Format

The SEMA Show Industry Awards Banquet will feature a new format for 2022, the organization announced.

Scheduled for Nov. 3, attendees will see the two final SEMA Launch Pad contestants competing for the grand prize on stage, naming of the first-ever SEMA Automotive Influencer of the Year, and important industry news from SEMA Chairman James Lawrence and SEMA President and CEO Mike Spagnola.

“Our industry has a lot to celebrate,” said SEMA Chairman James Lawrence. “We’re going to unveil something big during the SEMA Show Industry Awards Banquet that is more than two years in the making. I strongly encourage showgoers to join us on Thursday evening to hear the big news.”

Themed “Further. Faster. Together.,” this year’s banquet features a new layout. With a cocktail reception hosted by Fifth Third Bank from 6-7 p.m., the banquet will take place from 7-9 p.m. at the Westgate Paradise Event Center, organizers said. Guests will be able to vote for the winner of the SEMA Launch Pad Competition and be amongst the first to learn who the winners of the SEMA Person of the Year, Gen-III Innovator of the Year and Automotive Influencer of the Year are.
