SCCA Contingency Program Goes Fully Digital

The SCCA’s contingency program registration and claims will be entirely digital for all programs in 2022, the sanctioning body announced.

Solo and RallyCross competitors are three years into an all-digital format but beginning in 2022, they’ll be joined in the same program by road racing. Due to the expansion of the program, road racing competitors will no longer be required to obtain a signature from a tech official on a piece of paper and submit it to the office.

The new system for all programs is completed through the membership portal on my.scca.com, the organization said.

Through the digital submission process, competitors will be required to take a photo of the left, right and front of the car at the event.

After uploading the pictures, the submission will be marked “pending,” and then “approved” or “denied” once the claim is processed. The prize will arrive shortly after.
