RNR Tire Express Recognizes Breast Cancer Survivor

During its 10th Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, the company honored survivors & women continuing their fight against cancer…

RNR Tire Express recognizes the recipient of its 10th annual Breast Cancer Awareness giveaway. Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, RNR franchisees around the country worked together to donate portions of tire sales to foundations dedicated to breast cancer research and the search for a cure, company officials stated in a press release. As part of the campaign, RNR invited customers and community members across the nation to submit nominations for their Think Pink Giveaway initiative, showing their support for breast cancer fighters and survivors.

The recipient of RNR Tire Express’s 10th Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign giveaway is Kristy Cordova from Largo, Florida. Cordova is a two-time breast cancer survivor, first diagnosed while pregnant with her son. The nomination came from Cordova’s daughter, who shared how Cordova’s strength, resilience and selflessness continue to inspire their entire family. Cordova’s cancer has returned, and as she battles for the third time, RNR Tire Express says it knew it had to do something to alleviate some of the burdens she continues to carry.

As the Think Pink Giveaway recipient, Cordova received a complete set of tires and wheels, a VIP spa-day package, a gift card for a date-night dinner for her and her husband, $1,000 in cash, and a donation that completed her GoFundMe for medical expenses, easing a significant financial burden, the company said.

Making a Difference Continues to Motivate RNR Tire Express

RNR Tire Express says that its Breast Cancer Awareness campaign remains a cornerstone of the brand’s community giveback initiatives. Every October for the last 10 years, it has witnessed the impact of its campaign on cancer patients and survivors, and that continues to be its motivator. With more than 1,000 nominations nationwide this year alone, the program continues to reflect the brand’s belief in leveraging its national footprint to create meaningful local impact, noted the release.

“Each year we do this, we are reminded of the strong women who are fighting breast cancer or living as survivors,” says Adam Sutton, CEO of RNR Tire Express. “They are mothers, wives, sisters, aunts and friends, and we want them to know that they are seen, supported and valued. It is a privilege for RNR Tire Express to play a small part in bringing a bit of comfort and positivity to their journey.”
