Rightline Gear Retires Old Model in Favor of Improved Product

As Rightline Gear‘s Cargo Saddlebag hits the 10-year anniversary of its patent grant, the company has introduced the newest iteration of the product, known as the Car Back Carrier.

The bag features several new features including the new PVC Semi-Coated Mesh XT material. The new trim provides protection and a sleek look to the carrier, while also signaling the company’s commitment to using textiles free of phthalates and all other Prop 65 chemicals.

The Car Back Carrier packaging also has received an upgrade, according to the company.

“In today’s active society, so many people use their vehicle roofs for paddle sports, bikes, and snow sports. They still have the need for extra cargo as well,” said Loran Evans, Rightline president and CEO. “That is where the Car Back Carrier comes in. Gear on the roof, cargo on the back. We are highlighting these customer activities on the product’s new packaging.”

The most significant upgrade, however, is what’s inside the box, according to Rightline. The product will now come with the Rear Car Clips included, previously sold separately. The Clips allow the Carrier’s straps to attach to the vehicle’s rear hatch door.
