Rhino USA—a family-built brand of truck, towing and off-road adventure gear—announced RhinoWorld, a 182-acre adventure campus being built just outside Austin, Texas. RhinoWorld is where Rhino USA products will be developed and tested in real conditions with an innovation lab feeding the proving grounds. The campus will also include hands-on education and immersive retail and live experiences, company officials stated in a press release.
“We spent years testing our gear in the real world whenever and wherever we could. Now we’re building the real world we always needed,” says Ted Repic, Rhino USA CEO. “RhinoWorld is where we can beat the hell out of our gear, so you know it won’t fail you when you need it most.”
When the Repic family, Ted Repic and his sons Cameron and Dylan, relocated Rhino USA’s headquarters from Southern California to Austin, they found that Texas had much less accessible public land for recreation. The need for that kind of terrain to properly test and demonstrate the company’s products became the seed that grew into RhinoWorld, noted the release.
Inside RhinoWorld – Innovation Lab, Proving Grounds & More
The campus will include an innovation lab with a full shop for prototyping and testing, a content studio, a welcome center and concept retail space, a warehouse, RV sites, a campground and an outdoor shooting and archery range. The proving grounds will span more than 8 miles with at least 15 distinct obstacles across varied terrain—including creek crossings, technical trails and tilt challenges—purpose-built to test gear and build real-world skill. The obstacle courses will first serve as Rhino USA’s internal proving ground before opening to guests in the future, the company said.
RhinoWorld will also serve as a real-world training ground for first responders and disaster recovery organizations, where the RhinoWorld team will teach the best techniques for using recovery equipment to clear debris and vehicles in crisis situations.
A Decade of Growth – The Story Behind Rhino USA
“I started this company at 19 with a gap in the market and a pickup truck,” says Cameron Repic, Rhino USA co-founder. “Dylan jumped in with his savings while he was still in high school. We built the early team out of our friend group. That’s how Rhino USA started. Ten years later, we’re serving millions of customers and building an adventure campus. RhinoWorld is what a decade of showing up and caring about the product looks like.”
Ted Repic stepped in as CEO early on to guide the company’s growth, and later, Dylan and Cameron’s uncle, Ray Repic, a Fortune 500 technology leader, joined as COO to help the business scale. What followed was a decade of growth that now serves millions of customers through rhinousainc.com and major national retailers across the United States, Canada and South America.
“My favorite part of this job has always been dreaming up new products, then getting outside to put them to the test. At RhinoWorld, we can build something, throw it on a vehicle, run it through the course, and know pretty quickly whether it’s ready. That kind of feedback loop changes everything,” says Dylan Repic.
RhinoWorld is not currently open to the public, though broader community access is part of the long-term vision for the adventure campus, the company said.
