Report: Logistics Managers Planning for Rail Strike
According to a new report from CNBC, supply chain managers around the country are preparing for a possible rail union strike.
Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Division of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (BMWED), the third-largest rail union, rejected a labor deal with railroads that the Biden Administration had helped to negotiate, according to the report.
A strike could begin as soon as Nov. 19, unless a deal is reached.
