RealTruck has announced as part of its continued partnership with non-profit Building Homes for Heroes that it will donate 5% of every sale made on realtruck.com to the organization on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, in support of building and gifting mortgage-free homes for veterans, emergency first responders and their families.

“Throughout the year, we are continuously looking for ways where we can support and honor our service members and first responders,” said Lee Riser, vice president of marketing at RealTruck Inc. “As part of our commitment to our community, we are proud to contribute to an organization with a mission like Building Homes for Heroes that shares similar brand values.”

Founded by Andy Pujol after he volunteered in the 9/11 search-and-rescue efforts, Building Homes for Heroes is a national non-profit that builds and modifies homes and gifts them, mortgage-free. It is on track to gift its 400th home this December. With a mission that aligns with the values of RealTruck and its staff, RealTruck has donated more than $1 million since the start of the partnership, according to the company.

“We are grateful for RealTruck’s partnership and their contributions to support our veterans and first responders,” said Pujol, CEO at Building Homes for Heroes. “Veterans Day is important, but we are proud of the accomplishments to continue to ensure our heroic veterans are taken care of every day of the year. With RealTruck’s donations surpassing $1 million over the last five years, we’ve been able to support and enable services for our veterans who have sacrificed so much.”

In January, RealTruck’s customized and heavily modified 2023 Jeep Gladiator built in partnership with Mattel and Matchbox was auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, raising $325,000 to benefit Building Homes for Heroes.
