The sale showcases a broad selection of rallying heritage, featuring iconic vehicles driven by some of the sport’s most revered competitors, including Carlos Sainz, Juha Kankkunen, Hannu Mikkola and Mikko Hirvonen, auction officials stated in a press release.
1997 Ford Escort WRC: Ex-Sainz/Moya-Chassis #4
Headlining the sale is a genuine ex-works 1997 Ford Escort WRC, driven by Sainz and Kankkunen during its World Rally Championship (WRC) career. This historically significant Escort, one of the first factory-built WRC models, achieved podium finishes at prestigious events such as Rally Monte Carlo and Rally Finland.
Developed initially by Ford Motorsport and subsequently by M-Sport, the car retains its original factory livery and specification, offering enthusiasts a rare piece of rallying history ready for historic competition, which has been a regular at Goodwood in recent years. (Estimate: $339,000 – $475,000)

2004 Subaru Impreza S10 WRC: Ex-Mikko Hirvonen
Collectors will also have the chance to secure the 2004 Subaru Impreza S10 WRC driven by Hirvonen in the World Rally Championship. Built by Prodrive, this Impreza achieved multiple top-five finishes and has recently undergone extensive mechanical recommissioning, including a fresh engine rebuild. Still sporting its iconic blue and yellow Subaru livery, this rally-ready vehicle offers unmatched provenance and usability in historic rallying or prestigious display events. (Estimate: $380,000 – $434,000)

1970 Ford Escort Mk1 Twin-Cam: Ex-Works Hannu Mikkola
The sale also includes a genuine 1970 ex-works Ford Escort Mk1 Twin-Cam, rallied in period by driver Mikkola. Famous for its handling prowess and robust Twin-Cam engine developed by Lotus, this Escort competed in the 1970 Rally of Cyprus and was subsequently driven by British rallying icon Roger Clark. Authenticated by the AVO Club and extensively documented, this car holds significant motorsport heritage, offering collectors an opportunity to own an authentic ex-works Escort. (Estimate: $75,000 – $88,000)
