Race Sport Lighting Names New VP | THE SHOPRace Sport Lighting has appointed industry veteran JR Stocks as its vice president, the company announced.

As VP of Race Sport Lighting, Stocks will also oversee the growth of several strategic buying groups and attempt to expand the company’s products and services outside its current North American footprint, the company said.

“Steve has built a great team and it is my pleasure and a privilege to join a company with such a great culture,” said Stocks. “I look forward to being a part of the evolution and continued growth of such a well-respected brand.”

Previously, Stocks was one of the founders of MESA Specialist buying group, as well as its director for several years, the company said. He was also the CEO or president of several industry retail chains over the last two decades, including his previous position as CEO of Wet Sounds.

“I am looking forward to having JR bring his upper management experience and fresh perspective into our company. He has so many critical relationships in each industry that expand the globe,” said Steven Jergensen, president and founder of Race Sport Lighting. “JR’s expertise is the missing link to help our growing company exponentially grow in the next 5 to 10 years.”
