Dec 2, 2021

Quadratec is partnering with the Petersen Automotive Museum to present the My First Car giveaway, which features a 2001 Jeep Wrangler that was fully restored by students from the Petersen Museum’s Teen Auto Workshop Program with a variety of Quadratec parts, the company announced.

Over the course of the eight-week Teen Auto Workshop Program, eight Los Angeles area high school students learned the basics of automotive maintenance and repair while modifying the 2001 Jeep Wrangler. The vehicle received over $15,000 in upgrades, including a 2.5-inch suspension lift, Quadratec bumper and rocker guards, 33-inch Nitto Trail Grappler tires, 15-inch Quadratec Rubicon Xtreme Wheels, LED headlights and taillights, Fishbone Tube Doors and Rear Bumper, Borla Cat Back exhaust, a Quadratec J5 light bar and Kicker Speakers and Subwoofer.

The entire Jeep Wrangler build process has been documented on the Petersen Automotive Museum YouTube channel, and the six-episode series can be viewed here.

To enter the “My First Car” giveaway, applicants need to complete a submission form, which includes a field to explain why they deserve to win the Jeep and where they would drive it first. The giveaway is open to anyone over the age of 18 and runs from Oct. 5 to Dec. 31. The submission form can be found here.
