Private Hedley Studios Collection at Palm Beach Residence

Five electrified & scaled recreations of iconic race cars were displayed in a private showcase…

Hedley Studios, formerly The Little Car Company, has unveiled an installation of five of its pieces at an owner’s residence in Palm Beach, Florida. The installation, planned and executed in close collaboration with the client, features five specially commissioned, bespoke Hedley Studios pieces.

Bugatti Baby II

Each piece has been placed in a unique location within the estate, which was designed by Architectural Digest Hall of Famer, Daniel Romualdez. Placed in the estate’s living room, overlooking the lawn and the Atlantic Ocean, is a Bugatti Baby II, finished in the marque’s iconic French Racing Blue colorway. A 75% scale reimagining of the prestigious Bugatti Type 35, this Bugatti Baby II complements the interior design of the space, with its whitewashed cypress wood paneling and cream linen upholstery, noted the press release.

Ferrari Testa Rossa J

Placed under an ocean-facing covered loggia sits a Ferrari Testa Rossa J, a 75% scale celebration of the legendary Le Mans winning Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. This example, one of only 299 worldwide in a limited production run, is finished in a silver-blue and seafoam green, styled Celeste Met by Ferrari. A historic Ferrari livery rediscovered by the team at Ferrari Classiche, Celeste Met was first introduced on Maranello’s 1950s grand tourers, and in this instance, Hedley Studios says it has been applied to match the window trim of the loggia area of the residency.

A second Testa Rossa J is placed alongside its partner in the garden on the property, at the center of the interior courtyard and parallel to the swimming pool. This example is finished in Ferrari’s recognizable Rosso Corsa red, creating a contrast with the green of the garden space. Hedley Studios craftsmen spent nearly 300 hours designing and hand-rolling its aluminum body, using 3D scans of the original to ensure accuracy.

Bentley Blower Jnr

The most recent acquisition in the owner’s collection is the Bentley Blower Jnr, an 85% scale recreation of the 1929 racer, the only road-legal example in the collection. This vehicle has been placed on the lawn overlooking the beachfront and Atlantic Ocean, finished in a unique paintwork, one of six specially designed styling options curated by the Hedley Studios team.Hedley Studios Bentley Blower Jnr with Atlantic Ocean in backgroundUtilizing Mulliner Heritage’s Old English White exterior colorway, which can be found on Bentleys dating back to the 1950s, and a Cricket Ball leather interior combine to enhance the timeless appeal of the Bentley Blower Jnr.

Ben Hedley, Founder & CEO of Hedley Studios, said, “Seeing the creative and complementary combination of our pieces and the stunning architecture and design of the Palm Beach home come together is a true sight to behold, and it’s a privilege for our talented team to have been able to play an integral role in bringing the client’s vision to life. It also serves to demonstrate the versatility of the Hedley Studios collection, as not only drivable recreations but true pieces of collectible automotive art.”
