President George W. Bush to Keynote AAPEX Show
Former President George W. Bush will be a special guest at this fall’s AAPEX trade show. President Bush will deliver the breakfast keynote address on Nov. 5, christening the trade show set to run through Nov. 7 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.
The “fireside chat” and breakfast with the 43rd president-titled The Challenges Facing Our Nation in the 21st Century and the Power of Freedom-is set for 7 a.m. in the Palazzo Ballroom in the Venetian.
The ticketed event will include appearances by Bill Hanvey, president and CEO of Auto Care Association, Bill Long, president & CEO of MEMA. Tables of 10 can be reserved by contacting Chris.Kalousek@aapexshow.com. Only registered AAPEX attendees with a badge and a ticket can attend.
Doors for the event will open at 6 a.m., with breakfast served at 7 a.m. President Bush will take the stage at 7:45 a.m.
No large bags, backpacks, briefcases, laptop bags, suitcases, coats or event bags will be permitted at the event. The former president’s speech is closed to the press. Personal photography, note taking and recording will not be permitted.
