Port Congestion Causing Shipping Cancelations | THE SHOPOcean carriers continue to cite congestion at U.S. and Canadian ports as the reason for canceled sailings, CNBC reported.

As a result, shipping vessels will now be out of position for return voyages, moving containers, loading U.S. exports, and ultimately being in a position to load imports, according to the report.

Additional issues, including a strike at the Felixstowe port in the United Kingdom, will increase complication, specifically for East Coast ports.
