Pit+Paddock’s IMSA Livery Created by Jon Sibal

Renowned automotive artist blends messaging with the Civic’s design…

Pit+Paddock called upon renowned automotive artist Jon Sibal to create a livery design that would adorn its FL5 Civic Type R TCR IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge combatant.

The effort would provide continuity with Pit+Paddock’s TC America campaign, but also highlight the new car’s design elements and supporting partners in equal measure.

“For this livery, I wanted to make sure it evokes speed and motion, taking into consideration the form and surface details of the FL5 TCR body,” said Sibal. “The lines and angles of the elements were strategically designed to highlight the sponsors as well, so it’s both effective and aesthetically pleasing.”

Recognizable names ARP, ENEOS, Mishimoto, Turn 14 Distribution and Whiteline, from Pit+Paddock’s TC America campaign, have joined to bolster this year’s effort in IMSA, a premier North American motorsport series.

“Recognizing an opportunity, having the courage to step forward and staying ready for new challenges have been foundational in building Pit+Paddock into a full-fledged marketing agency,” added Daryl Sampson, vice president of business development and marketing at Pit+Paddock. “That preparedness is no different in motorsport and we are looking forward to Daytona to debut the Pit+Paddock FL5 Civic Type R TCR in race trim.”
