Pink Radios Are Back & Helping Families on the Central Coast

Rugged Radios has kicked off its Sixth Annual Pink Radio Campaign, an initiative that pairs the power of communication with the power of compassion, company officials stated in a press release. From July 21 to Aug. 13, all proceeds from every limited-edition Pink Mobile Radio sold will be donated to Mission Hope Cancer Center, a nonprofit providing world-class cancer care to families on California’s Central Coast.

With custom pink finishes, waterproof housing and pro-grade performance, the radios do more than go the distance—they support a mission of hope, healing and local impact, noted the release.

“This campaign means everything to us,” said Greg Cottrell, founder and CEO of Rugged Radios. “It began when one of our own was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer. The support we felt from Mission Hope was life-changing, and giving back through this campaign has become our most important tradition.”

To date, the Pink Radio Campaign has raised over $163,966, directly helping patients and families at Mission Hope Cancer Center access critical care, support services and the strength to keep fighting.
