Petersen Automotive Museum Launches Diecast Social for Collectors

The Petersen Automotive Museum announced the launch of Diecast Social, an all-new subscription and community created to celebrate diecast collecting with social gatherings and exclusive drops. The first Diecast Social event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the museum.
The inaugural event will welcome longtime collectors and newcomers alike, according to a press release from museum officials. The event will feature exclusive limited-edition releases from vendors such as Jada, Spark Models, Bburago/Maisto, AO Racing, LeenCustoms, GreenLight, IXO, Tarmac Works, Car Tuned, BM Creations, Welly and more.
“Diecast collecting is one of the most accessible entry points into automotive culture, and the passion and creativity within this community are equal to any level of the automotive industry,” said Terry L. Karges, Petersen Automotive Museum executive director. “There is no better place than the Petersen to serve as its focal point, bringing collectors of all ages together and inspiring the next generation of automotive enthusiasts.”
Guests will have the opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts, discover rare and exclusive releases and enjoy the museum. By bringing the creativity of the diecast community to the Petersen, Diecast Social celebrates the craftsmanship, artistry and automotive passion found at every scale, the release noted.

The Petersen is allocating only 500 subscriptions to Diecast Social in 2026, and the inaugural event on Sunday, Oct. 11, is free for spectators to attend.
