Capturing the essence of Pennzoil’s Long May We Drive campaign, the series pays tribute to the universal love for cars, bridging the gap between professional drivers and grassroots enthusiasts.

Produced in collaboration with leading automotive filmmaker Ben Hartnett, the three-part series celebrates LA car culture through the individuals and communities that define LA’s automotive spirit. Each episode will be available on Pennzoil’s YouTube channel, offering a closer look at the vehicles and passions of drivers across diverse backgrounds and experiences.

  • Episode 2: “Off-Roading LA—Featuring iconic competitors, off-road professionals and personalities, this episode will explore the untamed beauty of open terrains. The episode is scheduled to go live in March.

“Driving is an expression of passion and purpose—it’s about the journeys, the stories we create and the freedom it inspires in every driver,” said Amanda Luce, Pennzoil brand manager. “Through the ‘Long May We Drive’ series, we celebrate the diverse ways people connect with their vehicles, embodying the spirit of our Long May We Drive campaign. Whether on the street, in the dirt or on the track, Pennzoil is proud to be a part of every driver’s journey.”

Hartnett, known for his innovative storytelling and passion for automotive culture, shared his vision for the series: “LA’s car culture reflects creativity, passion and community. This project is about more than showcasing cars; it’s about telling the human stories behind them. We wanted to capture the energy and emotion that driving inspires, and I’m excited for audiences to see the diversity of LA car culture.”
