P1 Motor Club Nears Completion of 3-Mile Treasure Coast Circuit

After its official groundbreaking ceremony last year on March 10, P1 Motor Club has announced the imminent completion of its new 3-mile Treasure Coast Circuit, the first of multiple race circuits set to debut at America’s most expansive private motor club, company officials stated in a press release. Located on 650 acres in Port St. Lucie, Florida, P1 will have 9-plus miles of purpose-built race surfaces, trackside real estate ownership, and fully integrated family country-club living.
“P1 is the most ambitious greenfield motorsports project in recent history, and we have over 260 members before we’ve formally opened our doors,” says P1 Motor Club founding partner and professional driver Aurora Straus. “We have two ‘true north stars.’ First, great motor clubs are built by racers, not developers. We’re building the best modern racetracks in the world, and our completely unique designs came from a consortium of racers—from the amateur to the ex-F1 level—all providing feedback to our track designers. It helps that our team is full of gearheads. Second, we are a place you escape to with your family, not from them. I’m a pro driver now, but I started off as a girl that wanted to camp at racetracks with her dad.”
Treasure Coast Circuit & P1 Circuit Specs
P1 Motor Club’s new 3-mile Treasure Coast circuit is named after the facility’s Florida location. The track features three unique driving configurations with the West and East portions intentionally designed to operate simultaneously. The Treasure Coast course features one of only two FIA-grade bridges in the world, noted the release. Members and guests will have access to a 1,110-foot pit lane, large paddock area, and fueling area.
P1 Motor Club’s new Treasure Coast track will be joined by another new track called the P1 Circuit, which is a 4.5-mile course designed to FIA Grade 2 standards, with three configurations, 22 turns, and elevation generating 100-plus feet while driving, including a rapid climb onto a Suzuka-style bridge followed by a dramatic left-hand blind descent.
Safety-First Track Design & Construction
Safety was a first-principles design consideration at P1. Both circuits were engineered so that speed and security reinforce each other, with most runoff 2 to 3 times larger than FIA Grade 2 requirements. The result is a track that is fast but forgiving and gives drivers the confidence to push harder, officials said. P1 Motor Club also carefully designed the asphalt formula for the track to deliver the best grip, consistency and performance for all P1 drivers in all weather conditions. Constructed by Sunland Paving, the same company that managed the second pave of Formula 1’s Miami Grand Prix circuit, P1 Motor Club’s racing surfaces reflect the highest standards and driving demands.
Alongside the two main tracks are a 0.5-mile rally circuit, 0.25-mile drift track, a 1-mile karting circuit, and slow-speed off-road trails. P1 Motor Club will have country club amenities like a member clubhouse, pool and sports courts, and running and bike trails. Family-centered programming will focus on cars, driving and motorsports.
Amenities, Residences & Membership Access
Available to members (but not required for membership) are customizable garage townhomes and homestead-eligible single-family residences. P1 Motor Club townhomes feature 1- to 4-bedroom configurations, private suites, mezzanine-level entertainment spaces and balconies overlooking the 4.5-mile P1 Circuit. The limited collection of luxury trackside residences is designed to combine sophisticated architecture with resort living and feature expansive garages, elevated decks and panoramic circuit views.
The founders of P1 Motor Club previously developed one of the world’s first automotive motor clubs, Monticello Motor Club in New York. Under CEO Ari Straus’s leadership, the club tripled membership to 550-plus licenses and led multiple facility expansions.
P1 Motor Club is now offering Charter Licenses granted to individuals and their immediate family on an invitation- or referral-only basis. Charter Members will access exclusive privileges above all other membership classes, including unlimited driving access and priority access to real estate.
