Overfinch Debuts One-of-One Holland & Holland Bespoke Commission

Built on the Range Rover SV platform, the Bespoke Commission is an evolution of the Holland & Holland Edition featuring custom colorways & interior detailing...

Overfinch, creator of bespoke Range Rover designs, has unveiled a one-of-one Holland & Holland Bespoke Commission. A highly individual interpretation of the Holland & Holland Edition, this unique vehicle builds upon the foundations of the limited series while introducing a more formal, tailored and deeply personal design language, company officials stated in a press release.

Where the original edition drew heavily on a traditional sporting aesthetic, this bespoke commission adopts a more poised and contemporary presence. The exterior is finished in a deep black, offset by refined gold detailing. This shift in palette sharpens the visual identity of the vehicle, allowing signature elements—including the grille, side vents, wheel detailing and rear finisher—to appear more graphic and precisely defined, the release noted.

“This Bespoke Commission represents the very essence of Overfinch,” said Kevin Sloane, chairman and CEO of Overfinch. “For five decades, we have worked with clients across the world to create vehicles that go far beyond specification, becoming deeply personal expressions of taste, craftsmanship and individuality.

“This one-of-one Holland & Holland commission demonstrates what is possible when British handcraftsmanship, exceptional materials and true bespoke capability come together. While proudly rooted in the U.K., our outlook is inherently global, and it is through commissions such as this that we continue to respond to the ambitions of a truly international clientele seeking something entirely unique.”

Conceived and executed by Overfinch’s specialist team, the interior features a warm ivory and black colorway that replaces the traditional London Tan, creating a lighter, more composed cabin environment. Black piping traces the architecture of the seats, introducing clarity and structure while reinforcing the vehicle’s tailored aesthetic.

Overfinch says the Holland & Holland identity is expressed with greater prominence throughout. Contrasted monogram embroidery features on the headrests, while the seats are adorned with bespoke bird embroidery in richer detail and color. These elements reinforce its connection to British field sports heritage.

At the heart of the interior lies handcrafted moorland marquetry. Developed as a centerpiece of the rear cabin, the deployable tables reveal a layered countryside scene. When closed, a tranquil moorland landscape is presented. When opened, the composition expands to depict game birds in flight across the horizon.

Crafted from carefully selected timber veneers, each element of the marquetry is formed through variations in grain, tone and natural color, creating depth and movement within the scene. This approach transforms the woodwork from a material into a storytelling medium, one that connects the vehicle to landscape, heritage and the enduring artistry of British craftsmanship, the company said.

This one-of-one commission refines and extends the Holland & Holland design language. Through considered changes in color, material and detailing, it establishes a distinct identity, one that is more personal, more crafted and more exclusive.
